Available support options

I am happy to help. However, my time is limited and mostly reserved for paid work. My open source products are provided free of charge as a gift to the community. Therefore:

No support is provided free of charge for open source products that I provide.

Bug reports are welcome, if they are supported with technical details that allow reproducing the issue. This may include access to the environment where the issue occurs. There should be no expectation that the bug is fixed in a timely manner or at all, unless commercial support is paid for.

Commercial support is available and charged on a per-hour basis (see price list). Commercial support is not limited to the product itself, it may also cover general questions, advice and development work.

In case of a bug report, please start your subject line with “Bug report:”.

In case of a request for commercial support, please start your subject line with “Commercial support”. To help me respond to your query in the minimum amount of time, include the following information:

Initial consultation

€ 90

Consulting or development work

€ 180

per hour

Time after the initial consultation is charged per minute.

An estimate is given for each task before proceeding. It may be possible to agree to a fixed amount for a certain project. The initial 30 minute charge applies regardless of whether or not we continue, unless it is due to my unavailability or inability to solve the problem.

For customers inside the European Union, a valid VAT number is required.
